Topshop Brown Brogues
I have a wierd obsession with the TS brown brogues. I think because my legs are brown post Maroc they suddenly look rather cute and I'm thinking they might be a good summer day shoe to wear with pretty dresses.
Does anyone else even like them? I quite like the fact they are close toed and sensible heeled, but perhaps too much so....

Answer:
I've not seen them, are they on the site?
Answer:
I think they're quite cute too, but I'm really unsure how I would wear them without looking matronly? :o
O/T but did you ever confront your mean boss? :hitting: Oh I love that smiley
Answer:
Yes they're under heels on the site - they're pretty Chloe I think.
Ambukate, boss just gets worse - at the moment I have a meeting scheduled for midday sunday    , but I did get him to put the last meeting and team drinks on the same night after everyone complained.

I got some amazing brogues a few weeks ago from Pied A Terre. I think they are called Harry. I saw them on a woman at London Fashion Weekend and they looked so gorgeous I asked her where they were from and went and bought them the next day!
I've worn them a lot since, mainly with black opaques and shift dresses or tunics and I've had loads of comments about them. I think they look really cute as long as you wear them with quite girly pretty things.
I reckon it's a big thumbs up and even though I don't know you, from what I've seen of your style I think you would look great in them!
Have a look at the Pied A Terre ones as well though, I think they are nicer.

o/t Brent Cross to Wembley Stadium
NO.2. ask :
o/t Brent Cross to Wembley Stadium
Sorry in advance for the o/t.
I'm going to a gig in Wembley Stadium I'm in a quandry as to where to stay. We're only there for a weekend in July want to check out Carnaby Street, Camden I fancy a scoot around Portobello Market.
I used to live in West London a few years ago so I know my way around those places (on my first day of work I used 3 tube lines then realised it was only a 15 minute walk from my flat).
So bearing this in mind please can anyone tell me if it's far to walk from Brent Cross tube to Wembley Stadium? Or does anyone have any other location suggestions as Brent Cross is hardly exciting. Maybe Camden?
I'm leaving in an hour so if you reply I don't say thanks it's only coz I've gone home. Thanks in advance. x
Answer:
Wembley Stadium to Brent Cross - That is some walk - It would take at least 50minutes - I'm sure you would be too tired to shop by the time you got there.
Answer:
its v far but why don't you use the bus, if youll be at brent corss go to camden or even Covent garden
Answer:
Thanks Addicted.
Sorry, I didn't make myself clear, I've found a hotel in Brent Cross because it'll be July hopefully sunny I hoped it wasn't too far to walk to the gig in Wembley rather thna faff with tubes.
Sometimes places are closer than you think especially when it comes to tube maps, but in this instance it's not the case. I think I might have a look in Camden. I have no idea why I've got Brent Cross in my head really. Thanks Skyepark.
Answer:
Are you looking for a hotel in Camden dollyd? I'm going to a gig in Camden in May and am looking for somewhere nearby. So far have found a holiday inn which isn't very exciting but gets good reviews on tripadvisor. Any other recommendations would be good for me too!
I hear you about the underground being deceptive about how near everything is in London! When I was up the other week my mum said I could walk from Euston Square to Soho, but I ended up going totally the wrong way and had to call my sister to navigate me in. Sometimes I'm safer getting the tube, even if it is walking distance!
O/T Gi dieters
NO.3. ask :
O/T Gi dieters
Poundland have Gi diet books in at the moment. i just picked one up for my Mum who was talking about it the other day. Its called 'Living the Gi diet' and it is by Rick Gallop. Not sure if there are different versions of it or whatever but just thought it might be a bargain for someone.
I've had a flick through and it seems pretty informative, explains the whole theory of the diet, has BMI charts, recipes, lists of what you can and can't eat etc.
Answer:
Nothing to say about the GI, but I just read your blog and the story of the Gay Guy in UO made me peeeeeee my pants! :D :D Sorry, just had to say that.
Answer:
A friend of mine who teaches at a "fat fighter" type of class reckons it is the only sensible and easy to follow diet out there. She is an expert on all diets but really rates the GI one out of them all as it isn't a diet as such.

I've been through the edit section and can't seem to find it.
