NO.1. Ask :
Help!!! Where can i get boots like this from
H:o ope someone can help me:D
Answer:
I've got some very similar from River Island, but I bought them a while ago now, only in the last year or so though. I'm sure I've seen them in the sale at the mo - think they're £40 instead of £80 - but that's a bit of a long shot I suppose?
These are quite similar but the toe is more pointed I suppose:
or these, but they haven't got the 'tabs' at the top:
Answer:
I am confused! Which boots????
Answer:
There were a couple of pics posted... but have gone now    Think they were some knee high pull on boots worn by kate hudson.
Answer:
LizzieB, the pic has vanished  but it was this pair:
The boots are by Barbara Bui but they're a few seasons old now. There are some pull-on boots which are similar on the TS site , but I haven't seen anything else which is a good match in that colour :cmdunno:

    NO.2. ask :
    Gold Uggs
I spotted some gold Uggs on the Neiman Marcus website which I am strangely drawn too, would they be very wrong?
    Answer:
I ordered these from Neiman Marcus last week!
I was worried that they were "wrong" but I saw additional pics on eBay and thought they looked lovely.
I actually saw a pair IRL yesterday in Kate Kuba - they looked great, not as blinging as I was worried about. £170 though. With shipping, my boots came to just under £95. I'm expecting customs fees to be around £25 so it's a really good saving.
Only problem is they're not being despatched until the end of the month and I want them NOW!!!
    Answer:
I saw the short version in Selfridges, they were lovely. They even seemed to have the smaller sizes left. They're a kind of bronzey gold and not bling at all.
    Answer:
I've seen them in a couple of boutiques where I live and they are FIT! And I usually hate uggs...!:D
    Answer:
im really tempted buy these, please could you please post pic when you get them Dita? bet you cant wait, i'd be so impatient!

Does anyone know when French Connection update their online mail order stock? There's a dress I want/need/willdiewithout in this weeks Heat Magazine, and it's not on there at the moment, and I do honestly *need* it!
    Answer:
and now charlotte was wearing it on wags boutique, i'm never going to be able to get it :boohoo:
    Answer:
Have you tried phoning and asking? They sometimes have restocking dates like catalogues i would guess?
    Answer:
really? it's not even on the website as out of stock, it's just not there at all! I'm being dramatic I know! I was looking for an unusual white dress for my sports ball and this one is the only nice one i've seen, so I'm pretty desperate! Thank you hun!

Still might be worth phoning and asking? Or emailing a pic of it if you have one?

  • Spending diet - who's with me?

    NO.5. ask :
Spending diet - who's with me?
Ok, so I've just done my accounts for the last month and it makes alarming reading. I don't feel too bad as I've added lots of staples to my summer wardrobe and I haven't accounted for the money I made on ebay as it's stuck in another account at the moment. But....(and yes, you know what's coming!)...
    It's spending diet time again!
    Answer:
Which areas are you going to 'diet' in?
I definitely need a spending diet - am with you on that!
    Answer:
I am with you. My bursary stops being paid in august, and my course doesn't finish until october, then I don't have a guaranteed job to go to at the moment. I really need to save up some hefty money to get through a few months atleast, as well as paying off my credit card.
I am going to try and do more shifts at the hospital where I can to get some extra cash towards my savings, and the CC, and hopefully withmy spending cut back I will be able to save that money too.
I do not need anything fashion wise and am going to stop buying anything fashion related from now on. Instaed I just need to work with what I have in my wardrobe and be inventive.
I am also going to cut down on little bits like buying lunch at uni which all add up.
I am also going to drive on nights outs rather than drink as then it costs me next to nothing
    Answer:
I've been on a spending diet for the past month (I've slipped up a bit this weekend as you can see on the WDYBTW thread, but I haven't bought anything else for weeks!). It's been hard, but I've also been quite relieved not to have had the endless round of returns and exchanges from online shopping, and loads of reciepts clogging up my here :D It's also forced me to go through my wardrobe and try to make new outfits out of old clothes, rather than buying new ones.
I'll be joining you on the spending diet for the next 3 weeks as I literally have NO money until my student loan comes in...then I'll be going on a big shopping spree, I'd imagine
    Answer:
Yep, another one thats with you, although I feel like I've been on a permanent spending spree ever since I went to Uni back in September to be honest.

My FIRST purchase this year was last week! (So as you can, thats how extreme my spending diet is!) and I havent got it yet.

Dont want to spend any of my 'birthday money' (Not that there is much of it) until I finish Uni and know I have a job for Summer...

So my spending diet is until the end of May pretty much! :cmdunno:

Apart from one outfit, which is needed for an occassion I have to attend. :meh:
