I was just wondering if any one had ever ordered something from styledrops.com and if they were any good delivery wise and did you get stung for customs charges?

They are in Italy so you won't have to pay any customs. They tend to be a bit on the expensive side though.

Sorry for this random o/t but I was wondering if anyone could reccommend a site where I could buy authentic Russian wedding dolls (you know, the ones that stack inside each other) My grandmother had some, and they really remind me of her. I would love to get some for my new apartment.

I used to have some but I'm not sure if I still do and if so then they would be in storage and I won't be able to get there for a while. If I did have them I would happily post them to you but I honestly can't remember what I did with them :confused: If you don't mind waiting a few weeks then I could see if I still have them.
Tbh, they are mass produced for tourists in Russia anyway so I doubt there would be a huge difference between those and ones made in China or wherever.

i'm sure i have some somewhere, i used to play with them when i was about 8. but they're probably in pretty awful shape by now, and i suspect they're at my parents' summer house in finland and i'm not even sure it's possible to get there right now unless you go on skis :eek: :lol:
the finnish department at the uni in copenhagen have some with all the most recent finnish presidents inside each other :eek: :sick: :D but i don't think you'd want those! hell, i wouldn't want those!

A while back i mentioned i was trying to replace some shoes that are getting knackered at the heel but are my favourite shoes in the world - they dont look much but are the perfect pair to pull together an outfit if you get me
they only cost £15 so i got them in silver and black and am now trying to find something similar at a similar price too
anyone seen anything like this on their journeys? if it helps i bought them in a cheapie shop at an indoor market so wasn't from the high street!

Hmmmm as a last resort (cos of price) Faith have a similar pair in at the mo... I think they come in silver as well as gold. I know I def saw the gold instore.

I'll be needing a new pair of trainers (I hope that isn't a dirty word on the fashion board ;) )for the spring and I'm not sure which ones to go for. I'm abit out of touch fashion-wise, and want to avoid anything naff/chavy. So I'd appreciate any advice as to what ones to stear well clear of.
I really don't seem to suit Converse ones, they make my feet look like canoes even though I'm only a size 5. TBH, I'm not sure I like the general style of them either :cmdunno:
The 'daintier' (iykwim) the better really... I used to like my old Kensie (sp?) ones - but are these abit chavvy now? I quite like the look of some of the K-Swiss ones...:think:
Anyway, any advice would be much appreciated!
