I took my Emmy out for its first outing on Saturday and OMG ...the stares I was getting off some women were really pissing me off!
More so as I was going through the posher areas :rolleyes: Even Mr C noticed and went "Why are you being stared at so much?" Did I look out of place being black and carrying a Mulberry Emmy in South Kensington? :confused: (oooh controversy!). I bet they all assumed it was fake aswell. Tsk!
I don't give evils to women I see looking nice or carrying designer bags. If anything I play a lil' game in my head and am like "Oooh there's a Spy!" :p
Oh and bloody hell, someone could have warned me how heavy that bag is too!!! :lol::lol:

No, I've never got any funny looks when carrying my Mulberry bags, but where I live isn't that trendy, so I don't suppose many people would know what they were, IYSWIM?
ETA Carry your Emmy with pride and stuff them. I am guilty of stalking people to see if they are indeed carrying a designer bag. I once semi-stalked a woman in town who was carrying a Mulberry Elgin in oak :o

I think you have a lovely figure, and can get away with tucking in loose tops very well as you have very slim hips.

So, we brought the puppy to the beach for the first time at the weekend, it was amazing weather - I even got a bit sunburnt :o He absolutely loved the sand and once we hit the shore he thought he was The Hoff running in and out of the water.
I simply CAN'T go barefoot on the beach. I'm like princess and the pea. As for the water, forget about it. Everything I stood on I would think was a sea creature. THEN I started thinking about how wonderful it would be to have a pair of crocs to sludge through the wet sand and to wade into the water.
I had my Orla Kiely wellies in the boot but as they are fleece lined I probably would have melted in them. Instead, I ruined a pair of ballet flats in the wet sand.
Should I smack myself over the head now, or later? Answers on a postcard.... :beach:
