OT but another cat thread
I'm really sorry for the O/T ness of my thread. Have posted in Pets but I know a lot of you have cats and I could really do with your advice.
I'm getting a new kitten on Thursday and I need to sort out insurance for her. There was a recommendation for Marks and Spencer and am just wondering if anyone else had had experiences with them... Or anyone else who is good. I'm a bit  at it all!
Answer:
We use MS and they've been great so far.
Answer:
Can't help you but just wanted to say good luck with the new member of the family and insurance is really a must with pets. You never know what can go wrong and after a certain age you can't get cover for them.
Answer:
I use Petplan they are very good too. I picked them as it was recommended in my vets. When my eldest cat was knocked down, I had no problems with them they sorted all his bills out without a quibble.
Answer:
Our Paddy (now 8) has been attacked by a fox, run over by a car, cut by glass and broken his ribs jumping on the bedhead, set his tail alight walking past the candles and our insurance covered everything without a quibble. Tusse (now 18) got constipated and it cost us £300:cmeek:
Which top should I keep (pics!)
NO.3. ask :
Which top should I keep (pics!)
Hey girlies
I ordered these 2 tops from Topshop to try on for the summer, and am now unsure which one I should keep. I only want to keep one of them as they're very similar, and I can only think of the outfit below for them. They're both completely tent-like on me without the belt (even though I sized down - what is going on with Topshop putting so much material in stuff these days?!) so taking the belt off is not an option!
Which one looks best? (if any - feel free to tell me if they both look rubbish  ) Thankyou :D
Yellow top - this is actually really see-through, although you can't really tell in the photo  If I keep it, I'd have to wear it with a white halterneck underneath.

Answer:
If I'm being really honest I don't really like either of them on you. You've got a great figure and I just don't think they're very flattering, sorry :cmdunno:
Answer:
I think I'm with chats on this one, sorry sweets! They're both OKish, but you could definitely get something better.
g_k
Answer:
Out of them both, I prefer the first one. It's not as bulky and shows your figure better. :)
Answer:
Out of the two I'd choose the first one, as the second one doesn't look good at all imho. Although I reckon you could do much better. As geek and chat say, they're nowhere near as flattering as they could be on your lovely figure.

Making matte shoes shiny/patent?
NO.4. ask :
Making matte shoes shiny/patent?
is it possible do you think and how would one do it??
thinking of just buying the style of shoes i want in normal leather or even pleater and then making them uber shiny so that they stand out more against my black tights??
halfords have a thousand types of paints that can used on all sorts which is what gave me the idea
thoughts???
Answer:
I reckon you could do it with spray lacquer - they do specific spray varnishes in matte and uber glossy for glazing painted ceramics with. I'd check whether it would corrode leather, but seeing as ceramic is porous I should think it'd be okay :)
Answer:
I used to have a friend who was in the cadets (many moons ago!) who used to polish then set fire to her shoes to shine them up for her uniform. They turned out pretty shiny, but it seems quite extreme!
Answer:
don't dylon do this? they do shoe dyes etc...humm I'll investigate...
The bandeau top from Topshop!
NO.5. ask :
The bandeau top from Topshop!
Hi Girls.
I know quite a few of you have/waiting for the ruched bandeau top from Topshop.
I've been looking at them aswell and quite like the pink one, however, this is where I always go wrong - I always seem to buy colours when I have no idea what it will go with etc. Its not really a colour I can match up with a belt etc.
Basically, just want to know if you think its a good idea getting this colour, or if I should go for something more 'suitable'
Thanks ladies! :D
Answer:
I love the gravel and the purple one but that's just me. Might go try them on at lunchtime actually...
What's your colouring like?
Answer:
I like the pink one, but maybe you could buy two another one in a nuetral colour so you can put things with it.
Answer:
Thanks Girls. :D
Im normal toned really, not tanned, not overly pale... I have blonde hair.
Have got a pink hooded top from HM I wear to the gym and my OH said I suit the colour, very similar to that of this top.
Answer:
I dont post here much but that's a lovely top and a lovely colour too. will be nice for summer I think and if you suit pink anyway then get the one you're most drawn to!
