    NO.2. ask :
    Has anyone found...
Has anyone found a shirt dress on their travels with a bit of extra room for boobage?
I'm having issues, i fancy a nice simple navy or black (or poss brown) shirt dress for work with short sleeves... but they all seem to be designed for girlies with minimal boob, meaning that the waist fits lovely and it pulls the buttons off :o or fits my boobs and just hangs of my waist and looks a bit wrong. :cmdunno:
I saw one some where which had a full skirt which would have been ideal if it had a bit more room.
I dont want to spend more than £30.

    Answer:
Have you tried bravissimo? I know they do shirts for different cup sizes so maybe they do shirtdresses? Might be completely wrong however!
    Answer:

They've got this, but its not really long enough for a dress for work (and i'm not sure about the print)
I know mango and Miss S are notorious for designing without boobage, so i wondered it anywhere had a little bit extra?
    Answer:
I usually find that Oasis are quite good for additional boobage!
    Answer:

  • 50s dresses...

    NO.4. ask :
    50s dresses...
Has anyone seen any nice 1950s shaped dresses (of the non-halterneck variety) on their travels? My birthday's not for a while yet, but I like to plan in advance, and there's nothing that's catching my eye anywhere. I wore this last year:
I like to be quite retro as we will go a 1940s swing jazz club after dinner and everyone dresses in period stuff there. If all else fails, I might wear the red and cream printed dress in my style diary and splash out on some fabulous shoes to go with.
    Thanks!
    Answer:
There is at Miss S, which is gorgeous IRL, but it's halternecked so no use at all! They also have which is nice IRL too, but not sure if it's exactly what you're after...
It's just not a good year for fifties' style dresses, I think - blimmin' smocks everywhere. I have seen vaguely 40s' style tea dressy things in Topshop, but can't think of anything else offhand.
    g_k
    Answer:
g_k, that second dress is effing gorgeous! :faint:
    Answer:
    Hi Naz:wave:
I'm currently lusting after from Toast, but it might not be dressy enough for what you are after.
I did see a nice gingham one in Laura Ashley and they also have one on the Toast website, actually they have a lot of nice dresses on there, the is cute but it looks like you have a few of that sort of print already.
I would try Whistles, they seem to go for classic shapes year in year out.
Hmm, not sure where else to suggest actually, there really aren't a lot of nicely fitted clothes in the shops right now I'm finding it a nightmare finding stuff I like.
    Answer:
I agree, the shops are just full of baggy smock like stuff at the moment :( However have you had a look at next's summer collection? They have some nice dresses, like this one?
Also Ive not checked, but what about great plains?
  • Vogue's Spring/Summer Catwalk Special; Bras; Days of the week knickers?; FAO Bibbity re. cap sleeved cardigan but in pink.; Why does Davina ...
  • Jewellery with checked shirt?

    NO.5. ask :
    Jewellery with checked shirt?
Hiya - I've been trying to put together an outfit of the grey/lemon/white checked shirt from Topshop and grey skinnies (with 3/4 sleeve brown top underneath for warmth, brown belt, brown boots) and can't figure out what jewellery to wear with it. Am also pulling my hair back (bad hair day!) and wearing a thin white headband.
Any ideas or does the outfit seem wrong?
    Thanks!
    Answer:
    The outfit sounds cool
You know what, I'd be inclined not to go overborad on jewellery with an outfit like that .
Maybe a wooden bangle or a short string of plain brown wooden beads ( not both ).....defo nothing blingy anyways.
