Baggers challenge! Have you heard of this label?
.. I came across a fab jacket in a small boutique shop over Easter.. The label was 'minus'. I have tried to find other stockists, but I can't find anything about it.
Its so annoying as I loved the jacket and the owner was wearing it in the size I needed it. It was short sleeved with a nipped in waist, pretty good for nipping in lots of flouncy things and wearing with layers. Im trying to find an alternative, but I wanted that one. So annoying isnt it?
Have you heard of that label or know where I can find something similar?

Just wondering if anyone has a customer services number for river island as i can only find an e-mail address?
Basically, i placed an order last saturday, over a week ago. I've had no e-mail confirmation, no despatch e-mail etc, but the money was taken out of my account on april 2nd so i'm wanting to get in touch to find out what's going on.
I've tried e-mailing them but it hasn't proved very helpful as i've lost my order reference so need to speak to someone in person really.
I managed to order the sequin star top just before it went out of stock (as see in look mag a few weeks ago) so i'm desperate to get it!

no number on website but i bought something from ri recently and it said dispatch note they had changed to only being contactable by e-mail for ri.com which i think is pretty poor if thats true

I know this has been done before loads but I've just been watching a programme about the Carpenters.... although it was an upsetting story, I couldn't help but look at some of the clothes, especially in the early days, and love them!
When I was a kid my mum loved the Carpenters and we had loads of their records hanging about the house. I remember looking at the covers thinking how lovely their clothes were. I loved the high waisters and flares, the autumnal colours, the platforms, the big sunnies, the hair... all of it!! :cool:
I am so happy that all of this is back in this year!
So what's your favourite fashion era and why?

I'd say mainly 60's with a bit of 70's style.
I love the big hair and dark eyes of the 60's along with the cute shift dresses and then narrow jeans (probably called skinnies now although they were more for the men at the time i believe). The whole mod look - infact almost everything to do with 60's fashion!
Although i love hippyish/boho influences from the 70's. Kaftans, tousled hair, high waists.

I love 50's glamour, Sophia Loren and Ava Gardner.... women who could have showed J Lo a thing about curves and had the most beautiful faces :faint: But I also love the 60's look of Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby....:)

I was in Peacocks earlier and they have dresses very similar to the HM cut-out dresses that come in orange and white (and black?). The Peacocks' ones come in yellow and blue, and were £16 if I recall rightly.
