So, cropped/flood length jeans.....
.... with the exception of TS I'm yet to see any around. I don't want capri length but rather straight legged ankle length. Anyone seen any around - I know a few of us have said they were on our wishlists. At the moment I'm thinking of getting an olld pair of 7FAMK altered :cmdunno:
Answer:
I saw some cute looking crops in river island when I last whizzed through it Toosh, so next time I get into town i'm going to have another look there. Also, I think there are still a MJ pair on NAP which are heavily reduced in smaller sizes ;)
Answer:
Thanks doll. I did see some in Next actually but I didn't like the styling - they had patch pockets on the bum and funny stitching and I just want plain and simple.
Answer:
is this the kind of thing:
I have no idea of quality though. I'm after some too but may well go down the petites route as I still love my black petite straight leg jeans from TS as they are just the right lenght crop on me.
Answer:

I brought some tight cropped white trousers and wondered do you think a bright coloured tunic would look ok with them? I was worried that it may look a bit cheap and tacky as the trousers are white!
Answer:
Hmm, dunno - think it could look ok but depends on the colours. I personally like to stick to paler tones with white. Have you got a particular top in mind?
Answer:
HHmm, i think i can see where you coming from. think you have to be careful you dont end up looking like a childrens tv presenter, iyswim?
maybe post some pics of what you have in mind to get some opinions.

Yes I thought the same but it seems all I see about is bright colours!
I always think of that girl who wore garish make up in that sitcom in the 80's with Liza Tarbuck when I see all these neon tunics/t shirts about.
Can't remember the name of the sitcom ! Showing my age though

skinny leg trousers for work - yay or nay?
NO.4. ask :
skinny leg trousers for work - yay or nay?
went into HM for a quick browse at lunchtime and ended up getting 2 pairs of black smart skinny/cigar leg trousers, for £5 each they fit really nicely. I'm a size 10 so my legs dont really look awful in them - but can I get away with them for work? my companies dress code is smart/suits, and I was thinking they might be quite nice with a cropped suit jacket or a floaty-type top in the summer months. are skinny legs totally out fashion wise and would I look like a fshion victim wearing them to the office?:cmeek:
Answer:
yay yay yay! i love skinny smart trousers :heartpop:
Don't know about them being unfashionable because I have a feeling skinnies are more of a classic shape now. Well I'm not letting go because I love them! Oh and if hm are selling them so they can't be out of fashion?
And yes they would look lovely with a floaty top/blouses and the like :D
Answer:
agree with dooz. and all the high street stores are still selling skinny's so i cant see how theyre out of fashion. im still wearing mine anyway.

I don't think that's always the best indication! But I think skinny trousers are a staple now really, I wear them for work all the time, might pop into HM later actually...
Answer:
I agree with the others! To me, skinny trousers/jeans just look incredibly chic. They may not be cutting edge fashion anymore, but as everyone else has said, they're a classic wardrobe staple now, I think.
£5, you say? :heyhey:
I've lost the back to my earring!!
NO.5. ask :
I've lost the back to my earring!!
I've got a pair of expensive stud earrings, and stupid old me managed to loose the back to one of them :(
I think it's an 18 carat gold earring - does anyone know where I can buy replacement back to it, so that it can be worn again?
Thanks! :)
Answer:
I just use any old back of another earring, even if it doesnt match! :cmdunno:
Answer:
Most jewellers sell spares, they do come in different sizes and it's a good idea to get one in the same carat.
Answer:
you could got to one of those half price jeweller places and buy a pair of their cheap earrings and use the backs off them

I do too
Not sure what sort of back you want PS, but Claire's Accessories sell packs of earring backs. Although if it's a really expensive earring you might be best off going to a jeweller to get a back that fits it properly, so it's really secure and won't fall out?
