O/T but posted in homes already...
... and only had 12 views since yesterday! Can anyone recommend any shops/ sites for balcony furniture? We want a table and possibly 4 chairs, probably mainly made of some kind of wood. So far have seen a couple we like, the cafe latte style and the tahiti range . Or just tell me what you think of these two if you like!
Answer:
Erm, gosh! I have a balcony and I just picked up some standard furniture from BQ/Homebase - mainly because I am next door to these :o I just think that it's outdoors and exposed to the elements so not really wanting to spend too much on it.
Answer:
I prefer the Tahiti, it looks much more expensive without actually being so.
Answer:
 I don't think those two are very expensive though pc. Just want something that looks good and will survive being outside all year in the north-east! Thanks Pansymouse, haven't seen that range irl but hoping to go later in the week...
ETA: Haven't woken up yet, the tahiti range is the one I have seen, I'm probably edging towards that but Mr K likes the other range but we haven't seen that irl yet...

Transitioning from winter to summer
NO.2. ask :
Transitioning from winter to summer
There have been a few threads kind of on this topic, but this week I have really been struggling to remember what I wore to work last summer. I think it might nearly be time to let the trusty opaques go, but I have either shrunk all my dresses in the wash over the winter (possible), or I was way more slutty at work last summer (not impossible). Anyway, they are all too short to wear without tights at work.
I don't have to wear a suit or smart clothes really at work, but don't really want to look too casual or show too much flesh, so does anyone have any bright ideas for good things to wear to work? Oh, and I have gone off leggings at some point over the last 6 months, so those aren't really an otion.
Oh, and O/T, I have to resign in half an hour
Wish me luck...
Answer:
well since you're starting a new job you can certainly make an impression going bare legged :heyhey:
Answer:
Good luck! You'll be fine ;)
I was thinking of the transition too, as it's really warm today and I've been looking at what ppl are wearing to work. Most are wearing either trousers with a blouse/cardigan combi or a skirt/blouse combi.
I'm wearing a lightweight skirt/top with nude fishnets (can't go barelegged yet and i don't like the feel of tights) and flat pumps (dressed for comfort)
I think last year I wore lots of skirts/blouses and also a selection of knee length wrap dresses. I'll probably be wearing the same for work this year. May also do cropped trousers. It's boring, I know, but accessories are what spice up my work clothes rather than the clothes themselves.
For you, I can imagine longer shorts and pretty blouses with statement necklace?
Answer:
Good luck!!
Good idea for a thread too, I'm feeling a bit uninspired at the moment and am just wearing more summery tops with jeans tucked into boots which doesn't really work so I'll be interested in people's ideas too...
Answer:
Good luck with the resignation :getout: I like this smiley!
I'm in the same boat Lizzie, I don't have to be smart so can wear anything but am struggling all the same.
I've got on THAT Warehouse dress today with black opaques and black Office flat boots so not very summery at all  I'm afraid the transition will have to involved leggings for me, have no idea what else to wear with dresses atm.

Balenciaga bag question
NO.4. ask :
Balenciaga bag question
Further to Nursie's fab bag thread... I posted a small question which got missed as we were all far too excited about the site.
So, hope you don't mind - new thread for the question - if anyone can help? :great:
My question:
5336305) Mini hijack: does anyone know how big the balenciaga (le dix?) bags are?
( I know that short skinny-minny selebs are often phtographed with HUGE bags, but I often feel like the bag is wearing me if its too big! :cmdunno: )
Thanks guys!
Answer:
see - she lists all the sizes and (i think) measurements.
for reference, i am carrying my city bag, and i am 5'3" ish
Answer:
well the original le dix isn't very big at all, but the ones you usually see in photos are differet sizes. i tend to see most of them carrying cities or weekenders which are much bigger, the weekender being the one that nicole richie could probably use as a sleeping bag. the city is a middle sort of size, the work a bit bigger. the part time is a bit smaller than the work but wider (i think, i'm not completely sure and i'm feeling too lazy to look it up :o ).
you can find everything you need to know on though.
Answer:
Answer:
thanks guys ( for posting the pic PC) :I :tar:
there were measurements on the link Nursie posted but you know - they're only good for a rough guide, as I find because I am so slight in build what 'sounds' like an ok sized bag is often still too big. It's really annoying as big bags are very useful (clearly) but I just get very self conscious about it.
Thanks again!
Help! Which neckalce?
NO.5. ask :
Help! Which neckalce?
I can't decide which necklace to wear with this dress, if it helps I'm going to wear black pumps. Has anyone got any advice?
Necklace One - Back chunky beads:
Necklace Two - Long silver heart necklace:
Necklace Three - Antique Gold with purple jewels Owl pendant:
Neckalce Four -
Answer:
Umm I think maybe necklace 1
xx
Answer:
I'd probably do the black beads to tie together the black shoes and belt. But them I like to be quite matchy! :)
Answer:
I think Necklace 1
So it all matches
:D
Answer:
I'd go for no 2 as i love heart things, but its also a bit brighter than the beads, but not too much like no 3
Pacha x
