Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous!
Ok sorry for the excitement but i bought two Chloe-esque dresses from primarni today that are utterly gorgeous :throb: And best of all only TWELVE pound each :D
They are utterly utterly fabulous and I love them :D
They are a viscose polyester mix (okay thats the only downside but honestly they're really luxe looking and the fact that there were tons left on the rail made me smile as the chavettes had probably turned their back on them heeeheee). The detail is remarkably rare for Primark, i've papped the hemlines on both so you can see them, and also the bib/front of them.
Most happy :D
Here they are sorry for the pics i'm a bit bashed so was a bit haphazard whilst photographing them!
Black
Aqua (this color's divine!)
Bib/Front
Hem detail
forgot to say (if you're still with me that is :o) that they have a bit of a sheen to them which lends to the luxe feel - almost a shot silk meets satin kind of feel iyswim.
aaaaaaaaaaaanyway, the only thing i have to do now is decide which colour to wear on saturday night :cmdunno:
eta i AM bashed aren't i, whoops sorry for the gush.... As you were!!! :o:o:o
Answer:

xx
Answer:

Answer:

    NO.2. ask :
O/T - CV, does this sound too...
Im making my first CV! For the skills and attribute area I have put together this:

I am a hard worker, who is reliable and works well individually and in a team. I have brilliant time management skills, and good communication skills, I am also very motivated, and a quick learner. I show good initiative and my determination to achieve any goal or target set to me makes me an excellent employee for any company which would be advantaged to have me as an employee.

Does the end part sound too cocky? :o

Thanks for any replies in advance! :)
    Answer:
It's a good start. Cv's are about "show and tell" - it's not enough to state your abilities, you should give examples. I can say I'm hardworking, but how can I prove it on paper? If you can prove it, you will persuade an employer to hire you. Good luck.
    Answer:
Thanks for the advice! Hmmm, Im not sure how on earth I can prove it on paper that Im any of them other than saying it :cmdunno:
    Answer:
    Try:
My A level in Drama has given me the ability to stand infront of a group of people and voice an opinion, i feel this is a valuable skill because blah blah blah
My degree gave me time management skills, the lack of presure from tutors meant that i had to be relient on my own methods of organising myself etc etc
    Answer:
It doesn't sound cocky, but the wording isn't quite right.
    How about:
I am hard working, reliable and work well both on my own initiative and as part of a team.
I have excellent time management and communication skills, I am self-motivated and am quick to learn new tasks and skills.
My enthusiasm and determination to achieve all goals and targets set for me, combined with my desire to exceed performance expectations would make me a valuable employee and an asset to your company.
PC makes a very good point. Even if you haven't worked before, you should be able to talk about a time that you worked as part of a team or on your own initiative. How about at school or during extra curricular activities? You should pull together any relevant skills and experiences that you have and be prepared to relate these skills to examples during an interview.

I just love all the jeans from J Brand! They're gorgeous especially their skinnies.
    Im loving this one!
Anybody here owned them or any skinnies from J Brand? If yes, hows the sizing?
OR does anybody know where can I find nicely fitting jeans? For petite.I've tried Topshop, Miss S, HM and Dorothy Perkins but none fits me nicely.
Help me find a perfect skinny!
It's such a problem because I am too small! :(
    Answer:
I own the 14" slim leg J-Brands and I love them, they're so comfortable, and flattering and I'm really tempted to get another pair.
Size wise I'd say pretty true-ish to size, I take a 25 in J-Brands and I'm 8-10 on bottom usually. Can you try some on before you order?
    Answer:
    hi popoki,
i havent seen any j brand jeans here at my local stores. but they do have at selfridges or harrods arent they?
oh and where did u buy ur j brand jeans from? online?
    xx
    Answer:
I tried some on in a independent boutique near me (Bristol) then ordered from revolve. I got a good discount for my first order - there are a few codes knocking about.
    Answer:
Well, Nicole Ritchie wears J Brand, Tsubi (or whatever it's called now?) and Siwy so you might want to try those brands.

    which bag?
Hullo! As I've just got a new job :whoop: I've decided it's time to treat myself to a new work bag... :D

After hearing lots about the mirror copies as recommended by Nursie, I've looked on the site and they are all :faint:

Think I've narrowed it down to a Spy or an Emmy... I want them both but can't afford more than one!

It has to be black really as it's for work, but size wise it doesn't really matter... Ahhhhh, I am soooo undecided -can any recemmend one over the other? :thanks:
    Answer:
What's the URL for the Mirror bags?
*note to self: mustn't buy another bag*
    Answer:

Warning: visiting this site will inevitably lead to a seriously depleted bank account... (but methinks it's probably worth it!)

I'm already planning which one to buy each pay day :o ! I need saving from myself :D !
    Answer:
    Ooh!
All the ones I like are out of stock though.
    Answer:
My vote goes to the Emmy.

    mulberry emmy
I'm so tempted by the red emmy in the NAP sale. Unfortunately this student won't be able to eat for the rest of the month even at the sale price. :boohoo:
Do you think it'll go down further?
    Answer:
It's lovely, it wants to live at your house, value baked beans are yummy even for three meals a day, go for it.
I doubt it will be reduced again and it would be such a shame to miss out.
    Answer:
The Mulberry sale shop in York had loads of Emmys - in oak and chocolate too - might be worth ringing them to see which ones they have and I think they were around the £450 mark - slightly cheaper than NAP
    Phone number here:
    Answer:
    Thanks Curls.
I decided not to get it as I am looking to rent a new flat and as the competition is pretty crazy right now want to be able to pay a few months upfront so the bag really isn't an option right now.
I'll maybe check out the sale shop come summer tho!
