Anyone know what Kurt Geiger sizing is like?
Well Carvella to be more specific? I'm thinking about buying a pair of lovely boots for next winter in the sale, the one thing I dont have boot wise is a good quality plain black pair that will go with loads and that are comfortable for a full days wear!

About these boots? I love the plainness of them, but the heel looks a bit high for everyday wear, but it is quite a thick heel and I'm sure I would get used to it, and if they are good quality boots that are made better are they not more likely to be more comfortable?

They look quite narrow in the leg. Have you seen them IRL? Wondering if they'd fit over a pair of skinnys, but they'd definately look great over a pair of opaques or leggings.
As for the heel height, I'm not sure I could wear them for a day's shopping (I've got so used to plodding around in flattish boots this winter) BUT I think they look fab.
They're a really good price too, and a pretty classic, but funky (:cmdunno: ) shape. I'd be tempted myself if I didn't have a very similar pair.

Bit self indulgent I know but hey - I'm 40 now, I can do what I like!
I've been wandering around the house since really early like an over excited school girl. I've booked the day off work and am spending the morning eating a birthday fry up with my daughter and having my hair done. Mr LA has taken the afternoon off and I am to meet him at his office when he finishes and we are off to Knightsbridge for a birthday treat! He said its not lunch but does involve food and we will be out for the afternoon (afternoon tea perhaps?) :think:

I've had my grey Mondays since September and they've always washed fine.
I got them out the machine yesterday though and the grey dye has run- there is a big blob of it on one knee and a big line down towards one ankle.
Any ideas if I can do anything about this?

Oh no! Have you tried washing them again to see if it sort of spreads the dye more evenly? On the other hand that might go very wrong and make it worse, but presumably you'll have to wash them again at some point?
