Bag to match these shoes??

NO.1. Ask :
Bag to match these shoes??
Has anybody seen a cheap bag to match these shoes??
I bought them for a party on Saturday and just realised I don't have a matching bag, and I'm on a shoestring budget!!
They look sort of blue here, they're more of a sea green. Thanx. :)

I have a clutch bag in the exact same colour but I don't use it. It's satin like material but only big enough for a mobile, lippie and a purse at the moment. You can have it for a budget price if you want? I'll attach a photo in a min.
Answer:
I'm afraid I can't attach them cos they are too big. If you send me your email address, I'll email the piccies for you. :)
Answer:
Sorry, I'm nosy and want to see the bag :D but could you not upload it to somewhere like www.photobucket.com and post the link ?
My sister got a bag in that colour from Accessorize - they always have every colour in there, and it's colour-coded within the shop too so everything's easy to find ! Definitely worth a look at least, cos then if you don't pick up a matching bag you're sure to find some earrings or a necklace that'll match em !

Has anyone seen a skirt like this...
on the High street or anywhere??
    here
it's (obviously lol) the one on the left. I think it's gorge and have seen brown and black ones that are slghtly similar but no green.
Also, I might as well ask? Do you like it?? :D
    Answer:
I do like it, very much!
I think Warehouse had some similar ones in their sale, but in a more khaki colour. I also saw a skirt - can't remember if it was tiered or not though - in that colour in Kookai but imo it was quite expensive at £65.
Maybe Jigsaw or Kew might have one too - it looks like a Jigsaw colour if you know what I mean...
    Answer:
I saw skirts like this everywhere at the weekend... can't remember if they had any like this colour or which shops they were in... although my first port of call would be Topshop or New Look. I think I remember seeing some in Kookai some time ago in green, although they were slightly longer.
sorry that's not very helpful... gorge skirt though!
    Answer:
I got one almost identical from Dorothy Perkins about 6-8 weeks ago if that helps. Almost identical. They had full length ones too.

    NO.4. ask :
    Wedding guest Nightmare
I am attending my friends wedding in a couple of weeks and I just don't know what to wear.
Its going to be early Feb and very cold. The ceremony is in a typical Freezing church and then moving on to the reception in a country club.
I thought about wearing two outfits:
A cream suit to the ceremony with a huge cream scarf to keep me warm, which looks great but i dont have a pretty top to go underneath which is why I dont want to wear the suit to the reception. (This will only work if my trousers arrive from my Next Directory ASAP).
Then I thought I could get changed as I need to pop home first to drop off the car and get a cab. I thought I could wear Black trousers with a floaty top and sky high heels. The top has blue, white and black stripes with silver fine thread running through. I think it is really pretty and adds colour to the outfit. Its going to be warm inside so i can get away with no jacket.
I want to look fab as my ex is going and i want to show him how great I am and that he can't have me!! (Is that really B*tchy?)
Sorry its sooooooo long, please help!
    Thanks:angel:
    Answer:
Personally I wouldn't wear white or cream to a wedding, call me old fashioned but I think those colours are reserved for the bride.
I'd go with the other outfit and maybe take another jacket or pretty cardigan with you for the church if you think you're going to freeze :)
    Answer:
I'm having a similar nightmare! I'd wear something pastel but not white or cream for the ceremony.
I'm only going to the reception - I'm going for a green chiffon dress, my fur stole (if it ever ruddy gets here ) and am going to treat myself to those wedges cos they'll go perfectly ;)
    Answer:
I agree about not wearing cream or white.
I was at a wedding recently and commented on a woman across the room in a white outfit and how I thought that was terrible, etc, etc, when my OH kicked me. A woman at our table was giving me thunder looks, as she sat there in her white suit!! I nearly died.:o
And no, wanting to look great and rub his nose in it is not b1tchy at all. Totally normal. I think all women feel like this!!
    Answer:
I think it is considered bad form to wear cream/white,BUT a trouser suit is passable I would say,on Emmerdale (!) Patsy Kensit's character Sadie wore a white trouser suit to Charity's 'non-wedding',and she looked stunning-she wore the suit with a fedora and huge cream faux fur wrap-it wouldnt matter what you wore underneath if you aren't going to take your jacket off at first, really.

  • Dry cleaning not actually clean?

    NO.5. ask :
    Dry cleaning not actually clean?
    Hello
This is not strictly fashion but I got a dress back from the dry cleaners which I wore to a wedding a few months ago and there are still some stains on it. They are underarm stains and only quite small but the dry cleaning doesn't seem to have shifted them at all. Is this just because they are buggers to get out anyway or did I leave it too long before taking the dress to the dry cleaners? I usually wait until I have a few items as I can't be bothered to make a specific journey there for just one. Or should I try another dry cleaners in future?
Thanks for any advice anyone can give me.
    Robyn
    Answer:
I don't suppose leaving the stains/marks to set helped much, but it's also important to tell the dry cleaners specifically where the marks are and what they are if you know... that way they can concentrate on the areas affected and use alternative means of getting the stains out if necessary.
    Answer:
Thanks Yingers, in future I will let the cleaners know of any stains I am aware of. Unfortunately I only noticed the stains on my dress when I got it back
