boden sizes?
do boden sizes come up big at all? only ive seen a jersey camilsole in the sale, which looks like quite a good basic, but sadly they have only a size 8 or 12, and as a size 10, im not sure what to do! size 12s always swamp me for tops, but my boobs are quite big, so size 8, although they fit my the rest of my body perfectly, can be a bit strained!

I buy Boden a lot and would say that their sizing is pretty accurate but maybe slightly towards the smaller side. I'm a size 12-14 and, for example, in Next I nearly always get a size 12 top but in Boden I would order a 14.
I would say order the size 12 in your case. Unless you order both and send back the one that doesn't fit so well after trying on!

Thanks for the opinions on the shoes... I think they're quite cute, a bit vintage looking but I do agree with you Kiss Me that they look a bit cheap, might just be the picture though. Anyway, I've talked myself out of getting them I think which means I can buy the Kurt Geiger sandals I saw in the sale the other day instead :)

I have to be quite smart for work, and tend to wear black trousers a lot. Normally just get them from places like Topshop cos it's easy, but the quality's not always great I end up replacing them a bit too often :rolleyes:. Just wondered where other people buy black trousers from, obviously people have different budgets and styles they prefer, just looking for ideas...

I was in Faith today and came across these boots:

I really liked them but they didn't have my size- i've just looked on the website and what the hell is going on with the Faith website?! There is hardly anything on there and when you find something you like it's 'not available'!:mad:
Anyway- what do you think to those boots? What would you wear them with? I can't make my mind up about them because i'm not sure really what i'd wear them with so hopefully I can get some ideas here.:)

I like. But then I have a very similiar pair, in burgandy, except the lace is at the back.
Oh and I live in them. Wear them with jeans and skirts to my knee. More dressy than flat boots but not as dressy as heels for everyday wear.

Yeah I see what you mean- they do look very comfortable, but still look quite smart with it.

I like them too, but then I would, seeing as I have a pair :)
I wear them with most of my skirts - cord, denim, floaty or tweedy all look fine. I can't do boots over jeans, but they're probably loose enough to do that if you've got fairly slim legs.

I wear jeans tucked into boots quite a lot, but at the moment i've only really got high heel knee high boots so I will give these a try and see how they look. Should be a lot more comfy anyway.:)
