Quick Help!!
hello,
i am now going on a big unplanned night out this weekend. i was going to treat myeslf to a new party dress / outfit for my birthday do in a couple of weeks, but now i'm thinking i should get something now to wear on both nights.
i'm looking for something short and sassy (ideally that would look good with my silvery goldy boots or bright gree peep toes), but I don't want to look tarty. Ideally I'm after a cute Sass and Bide or Zimmerman type dress that looks funky and could be accessorised to look less dressed up.
has anyone seen anything nice around? I'd prefer to pay less than £200 and I'm open to any other outfit suggestions.
fingers crossed.

Answer:
Nothing very helpful to add I'm afraid Mimi - I'm after a similar kind of thing but I don't know where to look either! and you have a head start on me being in London. You know how dire the shops are down here in Bristle! ;)
Answer:
Hi mimi! I haven't seen anything I'm afraid, but I'm sitting here racking my brains for you, so If I think of anything I'll let you know straight away!

Answer:
Thanks girlies........ knew i could count on you, but where that neglectful SP has got to i don't know?!
I'm thinking about dashing to HN after work, becasue I don't want to spend all of tomorrow shopping as I've got people coming round for cocktails before we go out so I need to get everything together for that....
Have seen a cute Sass Bide one in green, but it's a bit risque around the boobs and I don't want to look too try hard!

1 Attachment(s) Am trying to decide wether to keep it or not, and thought you guys might be able to help:)
Its a lilac and green print on a grey background with thin silver pinstripes running down it, and I think I would wear it with a green vest, belt and birkenstocks, or black vest and kitten heels/birkies (obviously in the summer!).
What do you reckon?
Answer:
1 Attachment(s) Heres a close up of the print as its not easy to see in that photo:
OH, and its made of silk and is really lovely and floaty!

Not sure about trenches but love the colour, yay or nay?
Coat
Answer:
Thumbs up!
I bought the very same style in pale blue from Boden last spring and really liked it - and I think the apple green is a better colour than mine.
Answer:
Re: What do we think of this coat?
Fabulous colour. I'm not normally keen on trenches, but that one is great!
g_k
Answer:
Lovely coat and I think Apple is the best colour (but then I am obsessed with green at the moment!)
I love boden stuff - just wish I earnt more so I could buy more!!

Answer:
The only thing concerning me is I love the colour on the model but when you look at it on it's own it looks quite a bit paler which I'm not keen on, I guess I would just have to order it and see.
BIIIIIIIIG wedgies!
NO.5. ask :
BIIIIIIIIG wedgies!
I'm after some big wedge sandals for spring/summer (yes, I know it's a long way off but it's Friday afternoon and I fancy a bit of a daydream!) Anyway, I've seen these which I love
Here and here plus some Louboutin ones that I can't find a picture of.
First question - are they a bit groovy?
Second question - how do you wear them ie, what with?
Answer:
Oooh Toosh I have some even bigger wedges I must take a photo of them as I keep banging on about them. I like the ones you've posted, although I think the pink might be a bit girly for me and the turquoise would look great on someone taller than me like you!

Answer:
The blue are gorgeous! I think the pink are too expensive for fabric shoes. I always have to throw away my fabric wedges after each summer becuase I have smelly feet and they don't clean well. Whereas leather is wipeable. Probably tmi and you probably have sweet smelling feet unlike mine, but it is a consideration!
Answer:
Luscious girly. I'd wear them with floaty dresses/skirts or turn up cropped trousers, gypsy skirts, funky long shorts, anything really.
Answer:
ha ha portgirl you stinker!
love both of them toosh you'd prob get more wear out of the blue though?. i think wedges look lovely with a pair of shorts with turn ups (if you have the legs, i dont mores the pity) otherwise i think they can look good with jeans, or three quarter length trews.
i think it was this months elle that i was reading that they will be v.popular this summer, and to team with long tiered gypsy skirts, but i dont quite fancy this look much; seems a bit too floaty/girly for me.
