gold crystal famk query
can anyone help me with some famk questions?
i tried some gold crystal famks on in selfridges yesterday and decided to have a look on ebay before i decided where to buy them, but have run into several queries.
i've found two different types of gold crystal famks, one with three lines of crystal over the wave stitching, and one with just one line of crystal. are these both genuine? see now i'm doubting what the selfridges ones looked like, i thought three lines of small crystals, my bf remembers two lines of big ones - arghhhhh!
the other question is the cut number on the label. do these vary from size to size of a particular style?

Until I can get my hands on a trinny and suzanna book, can somebody please tell me what they (or you) have to say about dressing/style tips for people with big hips??
I am particually curious about what they say about belts? should I or shouldnt I? and are big bulky ones ok? coz I think they are probably not which is a shame coz I luv em!:rolleyes:

I had a look on their bbc website and this is what they say about dressing for big hips:
While child-bearing hips are great for that earth-mother look, there will be times when you want to conceal your more voluptuous areas.
* Don't wear dresses and skirts that cling or are bias-cut.
* Avoid narrow-legged trousers and tapered, knee-length skirts.
* Avoid belts that pull you in at the waist - you don't want to create an even greater contrast from waist to hip.
* Opt for A-line skirts and bootleg trousers that balance out the hips and thighs.
* Skirts or dresses with a frilled hem are a flattering choice.
* Trousers with detail, such as side pockets, will make you look wider.
* Wear slash-necked tops to broaden shoulders and balance out the hips and thighs.
* Choose longer line, fitted jackets. Never wear box jackets which emphasise a pear shape.
* Avoid cropped tops.
* V-necked tops are great for drawing the eye away from the hip area.
* Wearing the same colour on the top and bottom is very slimming.

Sorry guys to bore you with yet another shoes sizing thread but before I bid on eBay, what are your experiences of Marc Jacobs shoes size wise?

They come up small on me - I'm a 39 and most of my Marc shoes are 39.5. Having said that, of late I've been buying more 39s - maybe they've altered the sizing slightly??

i'm usually a 39 but my 39 marc jacobs shoes are so big i sometimes step out of them and my 38.5 pair is even quite generous!
