Where can I get one of those things that you use to shave bobbles off clothes from?
My coat is in dire need of de-bobbling. Anyone know where I can get a thingy to get rid of the offending lumps, please?

Hi SlinkyCat,
I got one from the Haberdashery dept of John Lewis for about a fiver for my troublesome coats!

Index have these... or if you're looking for the de-pilling rollers, you can get them in Lakeland for about £4 for 2.

Please, does anyone have....
....a pair of LK Bennett ribbon tie shoes (size 6, any colour) that they'd be happy parting with? I know they're a few seasons old now, but I think they're lovely and am kicking myself for not getting some when they were in the shops, and I've just come out of hospital and think I deserve a treat :) Please please PM me if you can possibly help me track some down!
Thanks chicks!
Answer:
You might want to try kmcl68 - I know she was selling a pair of turquoise ones on ebay a while back and I think they were a size 6! Not sure if she managed to sell them or not.
ETA: Hope you are feeling better after being in hosiptal!
Answer:

....my friends friend is going to Hong Kong in September and has offered to buy me a fake here over there. Apparently they are A+++ quality. Anyway, I dont know what bag to get! What would you ladies get? I am thinking the Chanel 2.55 in black, or a balenciaga. I would love more suggestions!
Answer:
Well its up to you - but I would ask for Chanel Jumbo Flap in Red or beige :D
Answer:
thanks!
any other suggestions?
Answer:
I want to say Chanel, although there's something *wrong* about a fake chanel (oen of mine is a fake having said that!) but they just don't sit right with me like other copies, however good they are
I'd go for a balenciaga I think.
Answer:
Don't know how old you are or whether it's your type of thing, but a Birkin?

Bit of a rant....
Yesterday one of my bosses said to me and the other females in out office that we are not allowed to wear stilletto's because it is ruining his wood floor!!! We work in a modern open-plan office with all wooden floors. Recently we had a new wood floor fitted on the ground floor which has apparently become marked from heels! The stupid fool must of known that this would happen when he had it fitted!
On the first floor where I work, the floor is old and battered already anyway so i dont see the problem!? I asked if he was going to tell our clients to take their shoes off when they walked in but he just said "no, i cant do anything about the clients can i".
Well, today, being the deviant that i am, i came in heels!:p They are only about 3 inches and are quite thick and not stillettos so I thought i'd be ok!
About 10 minutes ago, he noticed and said something and I said something along the lines of "you cant tell us what footwear to wear, it's like telling us we cant wear skirts, you dont have the right" and he said "i do, and i will send you home without pay if you do it again!" we had a bit of an argument and he said "you dont want to fall out with me!"
I am fuming!!!! What are my rights as far as this is concerned? And can i class that as a threat?? (i know its hardly vicious but i hate him!) i want to leave as soon as i find something else anyway and just feel like throwing my notice at him right now!
He is always like this and talks to me like i'm dirt !
Harumph
A very pissed off SPx:mad:
Answer:
Blimey - what an idiot!
It's all very well having wood floors in your home but in a place of work it's just not practical.
However, is it really worth falling out with him over? You say you're keen to move on but you might want him to write you a reference at some point.
He definitely shouldn't be making threats like that though.
Suggest you wear your lovely heels to and from work but in the office wear the scruffiest most horrible pair of flats you can find and see if he comments on that...
Answer:
What a complete git.
I suggest you wear your smelliest ugliest trainers tomorrow.

I think you should get some doc martin boots and see what he says :D
Answer:
What a knobber!!You work in fashion, what does he expect you to wear?I am not sure of your rights here, especially as wearing stilletoes has been accepted practice for sometime!but if I were you dont do anything on your own-can't you all club together on this,or get a senior manager (sorry if you are the senior manager!) to sort this? Also that is a threat-keep a diary of what he says and when he says it,just incase you ever need it!!
