Wearing blue and white thin stripe All Saint's Cobain Dress, black opaques, black vintage boots.
Tomorrow night Ibiza boy's taking me out for dinner and cocktails to celebrate his bonus and pay rise. We're going to EO so I am getting incredibly excited at the prospect of sashimi, tempura vegetables, crispy duck, lychetinis and other yumminess since it's one of the only restaurants that takes my shellfish allergy seriously so I can order the things I have to avoid elsewhere. I'm going to wear THE Warehouse and grey elevators.
Friday night I'm going to dinner at my best mate's with our two exes :lol: . She's a great cook so it will be more yummy food and lots of wine. Then I suspect we'll all end up in Westbourne Studios. Think I'm going to wear grey highwaisted shorts, sheer white puff sleeve round colour A line blouse, black droopy bow neckerchief, black opaques and grey elevators.
Saturday night I need a night in as last weekend got very very out of control and I can't cope with feeling awful next week. My other bestie's back from Marbella so I think she'll be round with her gorgeous little son and I thinking of getting out a trashy movie, ordering in pizza and drinking lots of rioja. Will be wearing yoga pants, a face mask and fresh nail polish I suspect!
Sunday I am having a pub lunch probably at the Bonaparte with my best friend and her boyfriend and Ibiza boy's joining us when he gets back from a wedding in the West country. Will probably be all snuggly in a hoodie, skinnies and flat boots.
So what's everyone else up to? What are you wearing and even more importantly what are you going to be eating? :lol:

tomorrow i have a meeting in helsinki which isn't exactly weekend fun, but after that i fly to sweden for the last weekend of skiing season :yay: but :boohoo: since it's the end.. i'll probably be very healthy *cough* and go down to max burger and have that for dinner since i doubt there will be much food at home. on friday i'll get up early :cmeek: and ski as much as i can manage, have lunch at my usual place (veggie soup if they haven't run out, waffle if they have :lol: ) and probably keep skiing until the lifts close. haven't planned anything for the evening, it depends on if anyone i know is up there, which is pretty likely. saturday and sunday will be spent pretty much the same way, and on monday i fly back in the afternoon. apparently the 1st isn't a bank holiday in denmark :mad: so i have to teach on tuesday. my finnish friends shall be horrified :lol:
oh yes, and i shall mostly be wearing tight brown skipants (not of the stirrup variety ;) ) with thermals underneath, some fetching thermal tops, a green/white skiing jacket, black helmet and white oakley goggles if you really want to know :D

Sat - Boring food shopping during the day ( squeeze a pub lunch) then minibus to Manchester at night, yay! Will be wearing my cream butterfly dress with maroon flowers at the bottom neon butterlies at the top with gold piping maroon suede slouchy boots cream buckle clutch.
Sun - Normally hangover day but have to drag myself out of bed to go for dinner so we can all discuss where we want to go on holiday, which i'm guessing is going to be hard work because some want a cheesy pulling tanning holiday some want to go somewhere like Rio or Vegas. Will wear Chocco Cat print mina dress with pink shiny bib button opaques slouchy boots.

Friday - Ugly Betty then an early night cos I'm getting a train at 6.45am on Saturday! :eek:
Saturday - getting the train to Glasgow to see my pals band (The Pastels - longtime Glasgow indie band) play their first gig in god knows how long. What I wear depends on the weather - you never know with Glasgow. I'm going to check the forcast on Friday and then decide. Since Scotland has already banned smoking in public places I can wear something really nice to the gig without fear of it getting really manky (unless someone spills beer on it.) Maybe I'll wear my French Connection black silk tunic trimmed with roses.
Sunday - catching up with pals from Uni (I was a student in Glasgow) and maybe doing a spot of shoppping. Then back on the train late afternoon.

Tiny I blame you! Everytime you post about your See by Chloe black dress with gold baubles on the 'what are you wearing?' thread I spend ages searching for the same dress on eBay on the of chance someone is selling it!
I'm kicking myself for not buying it when it was on NAP etc, but I was wondering if anywhere (other than Yoox as I've checked there) would sell past seasons stock?

I'm not sure if this counts as advertising, the woman in question is not related to me and I won't post her contact details. She has a very informative website and ebay account, please pm me if you'd like details.
Anyway... Recently I was looking for a DvF dress, it was only stocked in Selfridges in the UK and had sold out and was also sold out on her American site in my size and a quick google brought up this lady.
She was very helpful and answered my queries about size in great detail and then offered to look for the dress for me, as in her spare time she is a DvF personal shopper. It proved elusive and she called every stockist in NY and visited places in neighbouring states to no avail. Eventually she found a stockist in California who shipped the dress to her and then posted it to me.
Even with the additional cost of shipping from CA the dress was over £40 cheaper than if I'd managed to buy it in Selfridges! It arrived today, was beautifully packaged and the sizing is excellent.
As a bonus she waives her fee for first time customers and if she can get the dress directly from DvF gets a 10% discount! She also marks the package as a low cost gift so no charge from customs! If I was buying anything by DvF in the future I'd go by her.
Apologies for the long post but I really can't tell you how lovely she's been and the lengths she's gone to and I'd really like to share my happiness.

Just wanted to say, I live in the US, and I'm a bit shocked at the prices of DvF in the UK! They are literally double the price. If you buy via (a US site) you pay through amazon.com. so you can deliver to the UK too

It is a rip off but the thing is if we order form the US we end up paying as much as UK prices anyway as we get hit by customs and VAT charges.
