No, it's not a magic trick.... it's a dress issue for a wedding. I bought this indigo polka dot dress for a wedding I am going to next month.
However, because I hate my upper arms I was looking for something to go over it just to make me fell a bit less naked. Seeing as the dress is already quite 'busy' I was hoping for something plain. All I have found so far is this which comes in ivory and cream (I can't decided which the dots are).
What do you think? Do you have any other suggestions? I don't want to go down the pashmina route, nor do I want a big chunky knit cardigan. I will probably be wearing it with my Miu Matelasse, a pair of cream bow peeptoes, and a single pearl necklace / pearl bracelet.

I have the dress already but while the white on the ribbon trim is white, the dots on the fabric are an off white / ivory / cream colour. The feckers. ;)

Curls I have NO IDEA as I've found myself in an almost identical situation.
I think the Miu Miu holly's great as you get a lot of bag for your money, but the baby roxy's more of an 'it' bag and the luella's a good compromise between size and style.
As you can tell I've been thinking A LOT about this!!

I think I'm veering towards the Miu Miu at the moment on the grounds that I already have a luella, and my main work bag is a mulberry, and I don't have any Miu Miu bags. I looked at a few in London and they were lovely quality.

Hi, I dont know if you an help me with this but I thought I'd ask anyway!
I receieved a letter this morning from La Redoute saying that they are "currently holding a parcel in my name". They say that this is a gift I was offered but have "forgotten to claim". They then say I can get the free gift (which is worth £40) if I make an order.
It doesn't say if I have to make a minimum order or not. They also sent me discount vouchers.
So, the question is are they trying to rip me off? Or is there really a free gift? Should I order something?

There realy is a free gift, but its probly not very good.
So far off them iv had a little slow cooker, only realy big enough for one persons meal, and a set of bags which was a suitcase, a rucksack and a little make up bag. Nothing amazing. I wouldnt order something just to get the free gift if i was you.

The £40 free gift will probably be the same as mine... a cheap small luggage bag on rollers (for hand luggage on a plane) and a vanity case that fits on top.
I got a leaflet showing it, but I wanted to order a couple of things anyway.. I wouldn't order anything just for the free gift!!

I got a couple of free gifts from there before. One was a navy suitcase which I've used and is good (infact its coming with me to paris next week :D). The other was a quilted throw which is good in the summer! So some of their free gifts are worth getting :)
