DVF weekend bags/holdalls
In the Newcastle TK mAxx, there are some DVF large weekend holdalls for £39.99. There are various designs.
As you all rate her dresses, I thought you needed to know. They are tagged properly and everything, but they are quite big!

I've got some of these (non-stretch) and they are more generously sized than stretch Joeys.
I can't seem to get them on without putting my toes through the frayed section!
I was a bit surprised when I saw them IRL as I didn't expect the destroyed section to be such an obvious white stripe.

I'm going to a party/ball in a few weeks and was so pleased with myself this weekend after finding the perfect dress. I tried it on again this morning and had a good long stare at it in the mirror and now in the cold light of day I'm not so sure. I went out at lunchtime looking for alternatives of which this was one:

I quite like the idea of a strapless dress as it's not an idea I've gone for before.
What do you think of this dress, what bra /underwear should I go for if I go for it and what other advice have you got?

Hi, i'm in a similar position for a black tie wedding. I went into debenhams this lunchtime and I have to say all of their dresses were so frumpy and middle ages i felt very dowdy in them!! they all looked great on the internet so was very dissapointed!!!

In terms of wearing a strapless dress and a bra that will go with it the major factor is obviously your bust size and how the dress is tailored/fitted around that area. Some of my friends with smaller busts don't even need to wear a bra with certain dresses, these supply the support you need without the potential for accidently popping out. I on the other hand would definately need to wear a strapless bra of some description, most of the lingerie shopshave a variety of styles and ways to make it work. Haven't tried them myself but the 'invisible bra' ideas are supposed to be good as well.

I'd finally got around to attempting to order the gold Miu Miu sandals on Scorah Pattullo as NAP had sold out in my size only for Scorah to be sold out in my size as well!!! :mad:
