Yes, that's sonic vs manual, not surprising that sonic had better results. But sonic vs conventional electric? I don't think there is any real proof. BUt the concept is nice.

Hardly a surprising result as the study was done by the Gillette company, manufacturer of the winner of the comparison, Oral-b conventional electric toothbrush. Talk about conflict of interest... Also the study groups were small and the differences marginal....amazing that the american journal of dentistry should publish such junk...
