Permenant Numbness entire body over 10 yrs +

Ask:
Permenant Numbness entire body over 10 yrs +
I am a 40 yr. old female. I am currently taking crestor and 300mg of Effexor because my family doctor prescribed other meds (prozac, effoxer @ lower dosage) that did not help my Depression (current diagnoses). He said I am not bi polar.
when I was around 20+ years my lower back, legs, feet began to have pain and burning sensations. The chiropractor said I needed surgery due to the lower lumbar disks were leaking?
I did not get surgery and I have not seen a doctor about my back.
I have not had any accidents but the chiropractor said my back problem may had occurred when I moved large heavy items.
I have had no major surguries or accidents.
family history:
father: deceased at 38 - several "mini-strokes" & fatal Stroke
mother: living - lupus
I am concerned about the numbness that I have had for many years. The numbness was slight and not too noticeable beginning in my extremities (face feeling flushed, hands & feet numb). In the beginning I became used to the numb feeling and never consulted with a physician or have brought it to my current Fam. Doc.
The past 5 years or so the numbness and ringing have been constant. I have become used to feeling like my outer skin has a very thick blanket between the world and my nervous system.
When I sit I do not feel a chair or a cold ground or the grass. I see it so I know that it is there.
I am able to hold hot items that my teenager & fiance are unable to with out pulling away or dropping it. When I hold the same object iIt does not feel hot but I will release it when it does get too hot for me. This has not resulted to any burns
The numbness is not stronger on any particular side or area of my body. I feel numbness when I wake up and when I go to bed.
When I am drifting off to sleep I feel like I am unable to move. I am sinking without any muscle to get up.
It is hard to describe what I assume should feel normal. I don't feel things because I don't remember how things are supposed to feel.
I have a "metal mouth", I can bite my inner cheek until I feel my braces & wiring moving the rest of my teeth.
I have a nasty habit of biting my cuticles until they are bleeding and the skin is trying to heal & I bite until the area is raw again.
The cuticle / finger area does not feel painful unless I do something with my hands that enter the area that is open / punctured.
I am currently in orthodontics (braces) to align my teeth & jaw. My dentist said I have tmj.
I have caught myself relaxing my jaw to where my lower jaw is protruding with out me doing it because I can not feel it. I look in the mirror and make myself relax and I can see that my left lip & eye area is slightly drooping to the left.
My ears have always had a constant ringing, buzzing, humming in them. I had ear aches that would cause infections in my jaw up until I was around 35 yrs. old. Now the sound is loud, constant and not allowing me to hear anything unless it is loud or near me. I have learned how to read facial expressions to verify what I think I hear and verbally confirm if it is what I heard.
When I speak my tongue & mind get scrambled. I have to slow down and say my words as if I am intoxicated.
Sometimes I am light headed or nausiated. If I sit still long enough with out me manually keeping my body upright It will because so relaxed I have to prop myself with my elbow or leg up.
When I sit or stand or lie, my body rocks back and forth as if I am swaying to my heart beat.
I could go on and on but there are so many things that I have become accustomed to that I am not sure if it is a symthom.
My question to you is if I am able to see any doctor without a referral would it be a Neurologist or the Emergency Room?
Can you direct me to a link to what the symthoms could be a result of?
Can you tell me what test I should take to make sure that I am not misdiagnosed?
thank you kindly,

ANAMARIA Blood Results are good?
This is Anamaria and I just received my blood test results and the Physician said that it is good. He did highlight that I need to cut down on carbs & sugar to get my trigs down but other than that he does not know why my entire body would be feeling numb.
I will make an appointment with a Neuro & show this blood work and hopefully the neuro can explain to me why I am totally numb.
The test results are below, are these the right blood tests to take if you are having problems such as mine???
