I am a 26 year old female with two children. 2 weeks ago I noticed 1 knot behind my right ear, it started out very small about the size of a small pimple but now it has gotten almost as big as a nickel. It is very painful and it has caused the right side of my head to constantly throb and ache. Now I have a second knot that came up about 2 days ago, this one is only slightly smaller than the first but is equally painful. I have never had any major illnesses or medical conditions so I would like to know what these knots could be and what would be the best thing to do about them. Thanks.

good morning. i've just finished reading your post, you got me worried....:)
I am worried for you. because you mentioned
thobbing and with an ache. And as small as
a pimple to the near size of a nickle in the
time span of 2wks so your saying the little knot
has grown 5 times from its original size.
DON'T WAIT FOR AN ANSWER FROM MD HEALTH, YOUR SITUATION REQUIRES IMEDIATE ATTENTION.
Iam not a Dotor nore do i have any medical background in it, Iam sorry i am not trying to scare you, but 2wks is only 366hrs with rapid
growth, so every 3rd day + 11/12 hours the knot
will double in size, and also your brain is right near the knot. (the brain is a pretty valuable organ). once again ia not trying to scar you
but you"ll feel a hell of alot better knowing
that ..... it turned out be nothing to worry
about... better safe than sorry

Any knot should be examined by your Dr. Esp. if they are growing and more are arising. Could be glands or even more serious. Be seen.
