testicle issues, back injury... very worried
Alright, here's what's going on. I'm 19 years old. I'm going crazy over this probably more than I should be. I'll start from the beginning. I got athlete's foot and had it for a few months, didn't really treat it, didn't really care. Had it before and got rid of it no big deal. Then I got a severe case of jock itch and thought I had an STD at first. But I've been applying Lotramin anti-fungal cream to both and it's going away with great results thank god... I think I got the jock itch directly as a result of athlete's foot. Which is cool I can deal with that it's going away very well.
But... about 2 weeks ago I fell off a fence onto concrete about 10 feet. I landed directly on the back-left side of my pelvis on the lower back. I fell SO HARD. I was in a lot of pain for a while. I couldn't walk for 2 days and my right groin muscle was basically out of commission for a few days. But after a few days of laying in bed taking pain killers I started walking again but my leg hasn't quite been the same since. I read online that sometimes people damage the sciatic nerve and it weakens muscles and maybe causes pain in the testicles? Not sure... but I started having a dull ache in my right testicle. At first I was in denial and just thought it was my groin muscle from falling the other day. But now it's definitely noticable ball pain. And it's in both balls now, more the right than the left... So tonight I'm putting on Lotramin to make sure my jock itch goes away (which it's basically gone completely) and I look and see my left ball's like hanging way low almost like it's not even connected to anything anymore, but I felt around and there's still tubes and whatever attatched, and the right one is out of place, like more forward and it's like it's almost trying to retract up inside me. It seems twisted around or something, something's not right down there! My balls are all out of wack and out of place it seems. And they're beginning to ache more and more. No swelling really, no lumps... and the funny thing is my back doesn't even hurt where I fell on it. My right leg is just weak and my balls ache all the time. It's not extreme pain or anything but I've been reading forums all over the internet for hours and I'm freakin' out!
What's going on with my balls?? Is there an infection from jock itch? Did I twist them around or something applying lotramin? Or did falling on my back cause this? Sciatic nerve damage?
I've read online a lot and I saw that some people with sciatic nerve problems experience similar symptoms, and that's what I think it is. But by the looks of things it doesn't seem like there's a whole lot of effective treatment out there beside going to the chiropractor or having acupunture...
The worst thing about it is I don't have medical insurance until I get a new job because I just lost my old one. But the day I get my new cards I'll be in the doctor's office. This forum's really all I got for now. Somebody heeeelllp!:eek:
