Hi,
I have this strange thing and I really need help quickly in case it's bad. I have no idea. I'm 16 and on an exchange in India for the year. I got here a week ago, and have been taking malaria medicine, which I was told to take. But a few days ago, I started getting numbness in my right thigh. I have no other symptoms, the skin looks fine. I'm not sick. It is very strange. Any ideas/suggestions? I'm going to stop taking malaria medicine and see if that works. But what would cause that?''

Heres a link regarding the medications used for travelers for prevention of
malaria:
I didn't see any thigh numbness related to any of them, Can you call your family for instruction or your Dr. in the states? Sometimes thigh numbness can be caused by a pinched nerve. Have you had any previous injury etc. I would call my family and have them call your DR. and get back to you regarding. Good Luck,
