Ask:
High Blood Pressure
I have been having problems with increased high blood pressure. I cannot deal with almost any degree of anxiety like I was able to. I am very heat sensitive. It feels like I am giving myself a shot of epi and it goes all through my blood system and then sometimes before this happens or after I get a bad burning in my head.
My headaches have increased. I tell the doctor when I go to them with a blood pressure of 210/110 what it feels like is going on, they just give me ER drugs to get it down, i.e. Morphine and Nitro, and then write me a script for more BP meds, etc.
Lord forbid that if the few test they run comes back negative there must not be anything wrong. The patient must be imagining it.
Am I alone?

Hi and welcome,
It doesn' sound as if your Dr. is managing your BP effectively:eek: That is really a high one, life threatening infact. Can you get a second opinion and discuss this for it should be regulated. Also are you doing all your supposed to do regarding diet, exercise, medication regime etc. Maybe further cardiac testing too would be in order. Good Luck

High Blood Pressure
I was amazed when I asked the doctor who was on a check up visit for my mother to have a reading of my BP and the reading suggested 160/110. Now I am only 31 at present and I always used to believe these problems to be of those who are well past their fifties. This was my misconception which got shattered that day, but I would like to know if this increase in BP has anything to do with the sudden burst of anger in me. After all I used to be a calm person. Additionally if someone could also advice what I should do now to regain normalcy of my elevated BP.
