Breast Lump in Men
help!
when i was 16 years old, i've noticed a lump under my left nipple. my right nipple isn't affected. the lump is tender whenever it is palpated. i also noted that the color of my left areolae is lighter compared to my right. i thought that this would just go away after 3 years. now i'm 21, the lump is still there. still tender when palpated but it hasn't grown in size. my left areolae is still lighter (in color) than my right.
there is no discharge coming from the nipple. what advice can you suggest?
thanks in advance

I had the same thing and it went away when I was 20. It was something to do with mammory glands. I went to the doctor about it when I was 19 and he said boys usually get it in their teens and it goes away. My left nipple is still bigger(although slightly) and the left side of my chest looks a tiny bit different but the hard part has gone away.
Also I thought my left chest might start looking more weird(like a womens), so I started to do a lot more upper body workouts to try and get rid of the fat I had(although I'm not that fat of a person) in my upper body. Around the same time I started working out the hard part went away, but it might be a coincidence. If you don't just want to wait for it to go away, you might want to try it. Although I've never asked a doctor if it was related.
