Treating Burns

Treating Burns
I burned myself last night and assumed it was only a first-degree burn, but now it's looking like a minor second-degree burn. I immediately ran it under cold water and put neosporin and a band-aid on it. Then I left it open because I was told they heal faster if not suffocated. But this morning a blister had formed, and while I was working with my horse it popped. When I got home I put more neosporin and another band-aid on it. When I took it off the extra skin came with it. Now it looks like I have a hole in my thumb. and it's right on the crease, so it hurts to bend it. What do I do?

You need to have your burn seen by a physician. Its always possible with deep burns to get an infection. So to be sure your best bet is to be seen.
