Losing Sensation or My Mind?

Ask:
Losing Sensation or My Mind?
I am a nineteen year old female with an extensive medical history. Over the past months, I have had some problems with numbness on the lower right side of my face. Now whole patches of skin go numb. I've tested sensitivity in many areas using a lancet or a needle. There are some areas where I am completely losing sensation. I have a history of seizures, frequent infections, diabetes 2, anemia, and migraines. Could the numbness have anything to do with it?

I'd also like to add that my left arm has been getting increasingle sore and stiff. Most of my hand often goes numb. It keeps waking me up in the middle of the night. I'm a college student. I can't afford lose any more sleep.

In your previous post you mentioned your Dr. ordering an eeg. Did he and what were the results. Are you going to a neurologist? I would see one and work from there. good Luck

My eeg was normal. I can't really afford a neurologist right now. I am going to talk to my hand surgeon about my arm. It may have to do with peripheral neuropathy. God, I hope it isn't.
