I have a 12 year old daughter that has problem with headaches and twitching of the arms since 2004 she hasn't had any real headache for some time and within the last 2 months they have started up again and she has been suffering from a headache now for a little over a week we just started going to a new neurologist and he thinks that she may have myoclonic seizures but from what I have read it doesn't say anything about headaches, he did a EEG and said it was normal have you ever heard of anything with these symtons? Also now she has started getting dizzy at times with this, I'm at a lost and don't know what to do I hate seeing her suffer so much and missing so much school, could you please give me any ideas.
thanks,
Missy

Look into getting a M.R.I. scan done. These can provide extremely valuable information and are painless. My son has these done every 6 months to determine progression of a brain lesion. He also has involuntary muscle twitches and is sedated during the MRI scan - one has to lay completly still for this test. We have had no ill side effects from the sedation. Good luck and keep seeking information.
