pain after stress fracure!!!
sorry. The stress fracture occured in my right leg, on the inside of my leg just before where the calf muscle starts. The stress fracture has been fully healed for about 4 months now. Also the shin splints which caused the stress fracture are now gone as a result of intensive physio( working on the muscle next to the shin bone itself and also underneath the foot). The physio says the reason dere is still pain in the area where the stress fracture was is because of the mechanics of my feet. When I run my foot collapses inward which in turn causes the shin bone to collapse outward and create a bow shape! He says that when this happens the shock that runs up through my leg (from the akward way in which my foot connects with the gorund) all culminates in the area where the stress fracture was as this is the weakest point on my leg. To correct the alignment and mechanics of my foot he has issued me with a pair of orthotics which certainly have helped me in such a way that my foot lands more correctly and i walk more correctly. Yet still the pain remains!!!Do u require any more information?I really apreciate your time and service by the way. Also he mentioned plantar fasciitis
