I am a 27 yo mother of 4. I take Geodon 80 mg 2 X's daily, Risperdal .25 mg once daily, Klonopin 1 mg 3 X's daily, Synthroid .5 mcg daily, Soma 650 mg 2 X's daily, Albuterol as needed, Advair 2 X's daily. Since February, I have lost 30 pounds. I am down to 107 lbs. and have no appetite. When I do eat during the day, I feel nauseaous and/or vomit. In the last month I have lost 10 pounds. Is this my meds? Or is something else possibly going on? Could this be a symptom of anything other than medication? I appreciate your time, as I know it is valuable. I am just getting worried, especially since all of my doctors are worrying about my weight loss. Thank you.

Well, I have seen numerous doctors and now the internal medicine doctor is sending me for a Cat Scan of the stomach and pelvis (We found to lymphnodes swollen and hard in the groin) and an EGD. They also found two little lumps on my right lung that they are watching. They think my weight loss and appettite loss are more than my meds because two of my meds (Geodon and Risperdal) are supposed to make you gain weight. I'm down to 105 and withering away with no explanation as to why. Can someone tell me they've been there and it will be okay or does anyone have any idea as to what is causing all this?

Now my heartrate is in the 40's and my blood pressure has been around 165/93 where it normally runs around 120/75. They are thinking of hospitalizing me because they aren't sure what is causing all of this. Does anyone out there have any ideas or thoughts on this matter? I would really like a reply. Thank you.

Sorry to hear of all your symtoms and weight loss. Continue working with your Dr. and it may be beneficial for you to go into the hospital esp. for further testing and to monitor your vital signs and nutrition status. I wish I could give you ideas but I can only guess and that is not what you need. What did the dr. say of the lumps on your lung? Keep us posted.

The doctor said that the lumps are about 1 mm and there are several of them on both of my lungs. Follow up includes CT Scan of the lungs in 6 months.

:confused: He must not be concerned if hes waiting 6 months. Maybe these are scarring etc. Ask him what the name is and if this is a precancerous condition and something you should be concerned about. Gosh I would be.
