[Fact or Fiction????
A friend of mine has nail fungus in 2 of her toe nails. She doesn't want to take the oral prescribed medication because of the freq.blood draws to check her liver etc. So she has heard that coating the nails morning and night with Vick's Vapor Rub for several months will cure it and is going to give it a go. Sounds very aromatic to say the least. ????? :-\

Ideally, a sample should be taken from the nails for culture, to determine if indeed it is a fungal infection or not. Something that looks like a fungal infection is not necessarily a fungal infection.
The vicks vapor rub probably won't do any good, so the alternative (if indeed it is a fungus) is to go through the oral antifungal for several months, or have the nails removed.
