I'm a 64 yr old male in a wheelchair for the last 17 yrs.( from a stroke),Ive had pain in my hip only when in bed, in my w/c no pain.
My Internist has perscribed MOBIC 7.5mg,1-2 per day for 1wk,then prn. It works much more every r3rd night instead nightly, the same with Tylenol Arthritis,WHY? :-\

Hi Larry,
I don't know why the medication would work best every 3rd night. PRN means you take it as you need it, so maybe your schedule makes it so you need it most every 3rd night which makes it seem like its working more? Or maybe you notice a more dramatic difference if you don't have medication in your system for two nights, and then take it on the 3rd night, instead of having a constant level in your system at all times. Those are just guess, I really don't know the answer.
