Hello, I'm Kris and I'm and 18 years old female. I have a silly question. Am I addicted to Gravol? I take Gravol almost daily and when I take it I take double the does. I used to take one 50mg tab every 4-6 hours and then that stopped working so i took one long lasting 100mg tab every 4-6 hours when it said 8-12 hours and now I take two 100mg long lasting tab every 6 hours or so. If I skip my Gravol for a few days I get very anxious, shaky, cold and feverish even if my temp. is normal. Everyone is telling me I am addicted but is that even possible?

Hi, it's possible and you should book an appointment with your Dr in order to start weaning you off this drug. It's easy to develop tolerance to drugs, and before we know it we may be habituated if not addicted to using a drug. This often happens without us being aware of it happening, just like I imagine has happened in your case. Nothing to be ashamed of, but definitely worth doing something about. Habituation/Addiction to any drug will generally reduce your quality of life.

Thank you for your knowledge! :) My doctor actually knows that I am taking Gravol quite often and hasn't said anything about it. I don't know how I would go about asking him for help of getting off of it.
