Hello pat1952
Glandular fever or Infectious mononucleosis. My daughter had this once and theres not much they can actually do for it but treat the symptoms and plenty of rest, rest and more rest. My daughter took a full month to regain her normal activity and to feel normal. So your stating 18months of these symptoms and she was seen recently by a Dr? Are they going to do any blood work or testing. If not I would get another opinion soon to rule complications of mono. Use the search bar at top for futher reading. I'm sure your daughter must be miserable. As a mom I may not be a Dr but I would waste no time in getting another Dr to address this. Good Luck and let us know.

Oh its much clearer now. I was worried . I'm not qualified to give you a diet for reflux but you can search it at top of page. Just type in GERD. I would think maybe avoid foods she knows irritate her esophagus, eat more frequent small meals, elevate the head of her bed when sleeping. Its important to take the medication for reflux as prescribed, if it doesn't work tell the Dr. maybe he will change. I don't know if the spots are related to the stomach acid, which can be damaging to the esophagus, or something Else. You need to speak with the specialist as I'm sure he can direct you. Best wishes.
