Ask:
Continual Low Grade Fever
Dear folks, My twin grandaughters, 9 years old, seem to develop low grade fevers about every 3 weeks, along with flu like symptoms. Their mother and I are frustrated trying to figure out why this is.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thankyou

Hi lomein,
I'm sorry to hear that your granddaughters haven't been feeling well. Unfortunetly, fevers can be some of the most frustrating things to pin down. The fact that they're both getting sick and around the same time is interesting. If its hasn't been done yet, I would look into environmental factors or genetic factors. It is impossible to diagnose over the internet, so it is important that the girls see their doctor to get to the bottom of this. Best of luck and keep us posted!

Continual Lowgrade Fever
Thankyou for your reply. We have sent the twins to a doctor on a regular basis. He is not sure either. They have a very healthy diet. We have forced hot water heating (installed new furnace) and we run a cool mist vaporizer in their room. We make sure they take daily showers and the house is continually cleaned. There father & mother are both healthy. The only thing I thought of was the possiblility of allergies. Will continue to seek out possibilities. Thankyou Lomein:confused:
