Migraine Epilepsy??
Okay here it goes.. I have had every test under the sun..I am having my 24 our EEG on Wednesday.. This all started because I had a spell I was driving and something threw me back in my seat .. then I dont remember a few minutes .. tried to drive home got lost.. got home and then had very punctuated speech, and couldnt get the words out.. was very tired.. laughing crying... Havent had as bad of an episode.. but I do seem to kinda blank out for a few then the speech thing starts.. I was confused and forgetful for a bit but okay now..last episode was on the 24 of January.. its so frustrating.. doctor is now sure if its epilepsy or migraine.. but I always though you got a head ache with a migraine and I havent... any one had anything like this happen

Your description does not suggest migraine to me, but I don't have all the information your own doctor has, so I'm sure he has his reasons for his thinking. Based on your description alone, epilepsy is certainly a possibility, and other neurological causes need to be ruled out, too. Is a head MRI planned?

Dr. Joshua.. I have had an MRI, MRA, ENG, 1 hour Sleep deprived EEG. I am having a 24 hour EEG next week. I just dont think its a migraine thing. He says he sees no lesions or anything of the like. So I am not sure..

Dr. Joshua.. I did have Bells palsy 3 years ago and have synkenisis. He said I dont have MS. So not sure what else this might be related too. Thanks Chris
