My poor mouth has been hurting a lot. How can I get rid of my swollen,red, burning, chapped and numb mouth? It is very dry and cracked and looks like I am wearing red lipstick. It hurts and feels numb and burns.This happened about a month ago and will not go away and I am concerned thank you so much!!!

Areyou talking about chapped, cracked,red, lips? If you are and you have no other health problems then protect them from the weather. I can remember my kids sporting this smile and it was very painful. And try not to lick them so much. While i can't mention product names, they have many over the counter products for chapped lips, wear it constantly. At night if you get my hint a very greasy product thats been around for 100 years (very greasy) will give them extra protection while you sleep.
Now of course if your lips are to the point of breaking and bleeding it would be a good idea to see a dr. so to be sure your not with an infection.

maybe a cold sore? I've had that a couple times where my lips were so dry and I was constantly licking them, a red ring appeared around my mouth. I used greasy product for chap lips multiple times a day until it healed.
