PLEASE HELP: I got my cbc blood work back
Hi Megan,
Are you having symptoms at the moment? I don't think the numbers are that far off that you need to worry too much. They certainly aren't enough to point to any particular diagnosis. Do you plan to discuss or have you discussed these results with your doctor? What did he said?

Very unspecific, borderline findings, commonly seen - whether they have any significance depends on why the CBC was done in the first place, so you'll need to discuss this with your doctor. Considering your previous posts, I don't see an immediate connection to your symptoms.
Some common causes for such findings:
White blood cells may be slightly increased due to recent cold or some other mild inflammation.
MCH and MCHC may decrease in iron deficiency anemia. On the other hand your hemoglobin is within normal limits.

Thank you very much for both of the responses. My doctor ordered it in order to not miss anything he said. I was the one complaining of pressure on top of head as soon as I get up or sit down, with also pressure in ears. Neck problems as well. The doctor is a internist. He did neurologic tests, checked my eyes in dark as well. He based everything on anxiety, depression including my recent pressure in head and headaches, burning sensations in my face feet as well. The next day, the nurse called and asked me to come in for cbc blood work to make sure the doctor didn't miss anything. I still get the headaches its a weird feeling. Even when I raise my eyebrows i seem to feel things like muscles stretching and pains i have things happening in my neck cracks etc constantly and I used to play with my jaw or open my mouth to get relief occasionally when my neck used to bother me and the pressure used to build up. Now, I have a lot of pain in my head different places, sometime in back sometime top, sometime in front sides eye area too, pressure as well. my ears always almost feel plugged he says thats due to eustachian tube dysfunction. If I had something really bad in my brain or something that would show up in the blood work somehow, am I right? Again, thank you very much for everything.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Megan.
