Ask:
Cracking ,weak, painful knees
I am 33,but my knees have been cracking since I was 2 almost a dozen times a day. But in the last few years the cracking has stepped up to each and every time I kneel down and as a nurses aide, that is all day long. The last few months I have needed help to get back up. Either one of my patients give me a boost or i use a handle bar on a wall or get up one knee at a time. I know cracking is normal, but both knees every time you kneel?> And the aches and weakness. Also years ago it took time for them to wind up again to crack, now I can bend down 60 times in 60 sec. and each time they crack. My question is is this something to be seen about or not? And by family doctor or orthropedic? Thanks!

If you are having aches and weakness along with the knee cracking, in my opinion I would be seen by my GP and maybe a referral to a orthopedist.

Bike Man,
No man, no one makes me mad with intelligent questions. I dunno, mine pops alot and bike riding is a no no for me. For best result for an answer ask this question on a new thread and others will surely answer, maybe even the good ol' Doc.
Thanks for writing!
