Numb big toe and numb front and side of leg following ACL reconstruction

Ask:
Numb big toe and numb front and side of leg following ACL reconstruction
Good day,
I had a complete ACL tear after jumping from a 7 ft platform with about 25 pounds of weight on me. In addition to the ACL tear, since the injury occurred my big toe feels numb. I have normal feeling on half the inside toe. The half toe away from the rest of the toes feels numb 24/7. I had acl reconstruction surgery using my hamstrings. Despite the acl repair I still have the numb toe. As well, following the acl reconstruction surgery I have loss of feeling/numbness at the front and side of my lower leg(knee down). I am not sure what causes this.
Sincerely,
Kac146

Hi kac146,
Did you discuss these symptoms with your surgeon? I'm not a Dr. so I don't know if neves were damaged and it may take time to heal. I think your Dr. should know asap and let us know.
