What kind of things? I guess they are bad. Have people being telling you? I would talk to your friend, if they still are your friend. Is your friend 'immature'?

Answer:
Ugh! Those are not good friends to keep. Gossip is toxic. I'd let a friend like that go. Start cutting it off and stop sharing anything you might feel is a sensitive issue with him/her. Obviously, as helpp mentioned above, the person may not be mature enough to handle it and is looking for a bit of drama to cover up their own insecurities. As someone once mentioned in another post back stabbing or gossip becomes like a hobby for them. People like that aren't worth your minute. Find friends you can trust and prove to them you are just as trustworthy. In the long run I truly have a lot more respect for someone who has positive things to say about others than someone who comes and unloads a lot of dirt about someone on me. A person who gossips is showing me who they are and they are telling me by their actions I don't want to be around them. My mom always used to refer to this song from the play "The Music Man" when people gossip!
Answer:
Mainly the "pick a little, talk a little" part of the song! :))
