Well, the thing I liked about Moulin Rouge was that it took rock songs everyone already knew, and made them into the musical theater format. I dunno why, I just liked it :) I saw Chicago recently, actually; the jail scene was unbelieveble. I heard Catherine Zeta Jones was even pregnant when they were filming that o.0

That is one hundred per-cent true. Zeta Jones is spectacular in that film! Renee Zellweger is at the very top of her game. And who knew Richard Gere could tap dance? Chicago is easily my favorite Hollywood musical, with Hairspray coming in to a close second.
