I guess this is more of a rant, because this guy I knew for quite a while that was as messed up as they come was talking to this girl (my best friend) and when they finally saw each other again after maybe 14 years he was rude because she gained some weight. When she told me he looked like he had been drinking with red eyes and had not had a hair cut in years and was short, dressed like he didn’t have much and was knock kneed with a slight speech impediment.

lets say this... i look at an apple. you look at an apple. its the same apple. we are both looking at it. you can see the worm, i cannot. its the same worm. in the same apple. from where i am looking, its a good looking apple. from where you are sitting, its a bad apple. this is all a matter of perspective. now, according to your statement, the apple is ok anyway... because all apples are the same (i.e. humans are the same), but the ones with worms are less attractive, and the ones without; more so. (women, are generally more attractive than men. bottom line, according to your statement.) i pose this question: why do you see more ugly guys with good looking girls than ugly girls with good looking men? apple,worm, or perspective???? the jist is... women will go with poor looking fellows if they tend to have or pre-tend to have money/stability/connections/GIRTH or, my least favorite, sympathy issues. If this is the case notice different races look at "pretty" in a different way. i.e. whoopi and that guy she was married to Lyle Trachtenberg, and the guy she is with now David Claessen. Not that she is unattractive but her beauty is not obvious.
