My boss is a crook and I can prove it but I’ll lose my job if I turn him in.

Ask:
What do I do? I have kids to feed, a morgage, etc. At the same time, I can’t sleep knowing how much money he’s stealing from the company. HELP!

Answer:
It all boils down to integrity. Can you do it anonymously?
Answer:
Why will you lose your job? I would think the company would be happy with you for exposing a crook.
Answer:
Talk to your HR department. They should have policies in place to handle this sort of thing. Sometimes larger companies have hotlines you can call to anonymously report unethical behavior. Or, if all else fails, go as far over his head as you can and report your suspicions.
Answer:
You can't legally lose a job over exposing criminal activity. In the past few years, the U.S. had really been cracking down on companies who try to penalize "whistleblowers." If you can really prove it, take the steps that Gimli lined out for you. It may even end up rewarding you in the end. Just make sure that you put everything in writing before presenting it to the company and keep a copy for yourself, so that if anyone tries to make you a scapegoat, your butt is covered. E-mailing is great because it electronically tracks anything that you send or receive so they can't lie about never having received documents.
