feeding my 9 mo. old

Ask:
I am so tired of buying baby food plus she is starting to and wanting to eat our food.
This morning I cut up an apple in tiny tiny chunks and nuked it for 2 min. in water and it's just the same as the apple bites in the babyfood jar! and I gave my other dd the rest of the apple to eat w/her breakfast. How easy was that!!
Answer:

good for you! When Jenna's older I'll remember that! I bought gerber for the first two but this time i'm gonna make my own! I got a mini-food processor/chopper whatever you want to call it from a neighbor.
Answer:

I made my own baby food for both of my kids - it's fairly easy, healthy, and definitely inexpensive. Have fun and good luck!
Answer:

Maybe you can give her waffel or toast in the morning to gnaw on.
Answer:

I give my 10 month old oatmeal (not infant oatmeal) and a banana for breakfast, cut up pieces of chicken and frozen peas or carrots (cooked) for dinner or lunch...basically, anything that is softer and small. He loves finger foods. Toast is another good one, too. Mac N Cheese, cut up hamburgers...
Answer:

I give ds, 11mths, Yobaby Yogurt (w/cereal added) for breakfast followed by some cut up fruit. My old reliable table foods are: any cut up veggie or fruit, wholewheat noodles, ground beef or other small meat, black beans, baked beans, plain oatmeal (not baby) mixed with no sugaradded applesauce (dd loves it, ds hasn't taken to it yet), cut up cheese and anything is good with spaghetti sauce or ranch dressing.
Answer:

Canned fruit and veggies are soft and easy for little ones to eat and much cheaper than buying Graduates or such!
