Ask:
Do you keep them up and add to them? Do you rotate them? Are they on a bookshelf or on a wall?
Answer:
Right now, about the only pics I have out are ones of Aidan. And I have to keep them up and away from his little hands. At one house we lived in, we had a long hallway with a large wall and I framed photos we had, put photos of DH and I in the middle, then his family photos surrounding him and my family surrounding me. We haven't lived where I could do that again, so I haven't done it in awhile.
Answer:
I know I'm weird, but I don't display photos. When I go to my inlaws or my parents house, I just cringe seeing our pictures out. I know! I'm odd! !
I do have a series of shelves in a walk in closet off my bedroom and I have some small framed photos of my kids from various years and my favorite wedding photo of DH and I. That room is not 'open to the public', so only the immediate family sees them.
Answer:
I am so bad when it comes to putting out pictures. Of course, I have bought tons and tons of pictures when the kids were babies that are sitting in a box. I am sooo bad when it comes to putting out pictures. Right now though, I have the current school pictures on the tv and some baby pictures hanging on the wall. It's easier now that they are in school, they don't have as many pictures taken..
Answer:

Answer:
I have a one wall with a wall to wall bookcase. Some of my pics are there and some are on the mantle above the fireplace. I also have a few in the office. I usually replace my nephews and nieces pics with the newest one when I receive them. DD is a little harder, I seem to keep my favorites and replace the others. I also have what I consider to be my special pics- my wedding and pics of our deceased grandparents.
Answer:
I have only the kids school pics on the wall in the living room. The rest of the family pics are hung in the long hallway leading to the back bedrooms. I have smaller 5x7's and other various smaller sizes in frames setting on the stereo table and end tables.
Answer:
I have a wall in the family room where I plan to hang pictures when I decide how I want to do it. Otherwise, I have pics scattered throughout each room of the house almost. They are sitting on shelves, tables, mantles, nightstands, etc.
I rotate them based on the season. Right now I have autumn, pumpkin patch, boys' birthday pics, and Halloween pics from past years. When they only come out for a short time every year, it is exciting because I'm not used to seeing the same ones out all the time. During the winter I put out the Christmas pics, snow pics, and fireside pics. In the spring I put out Easter and garden pics. In the summer I pull out the vacation pics, backyard pics, beach pics, and Wyndser's birthday pics.
When I finally hang the pics in the family room, I don't think I will rotate them, but then again, I might. Don't know yet.
Answer:
We have a really cool Pottery Barn wall easle that I got on e-bay for a fraction of the cost. It is above our sofa and has all the kids pictures in it.
Answer:
I have 3 big collages in my hallway that I don't change, there are pics of DH and I from years ago, the kids at all ages, and various family members. I don't change those out, b/c I like the wide range they show. I do change out some of my framed pics of the kids, but not many b/c if I put it into a frame, it means I really like it, I won't frame any ol pic.
