I looked up their website and only found a small statement that said Kristin Hall left the band to concentrate more on her song writing career. I had heard somewhere else that she had a hard time with the sudden fame and didn't like the whole photo shoots,making music videos and having to do interviews. I guess she's shy?

Again, I'm not the biggest country music fan and don't follow it the way I do rock and pop, but did the lead singer not drop a good twenty some pounds? She was a rail last night (back home that is how we describe very skinny people). I remember when their first single came out, she was young, bouncey and had some meat on her. She's still young and bouncey but now she's so frail looking. It really bothers me to see successful women feel like they have to change themselves so drastically just so they can fit in. It's sad

The song they did last night was good...The ont time I heard Jennifer Nettles live she wasn't that great...last night she held her own, I like them as a duo. I believe the one that left the band is still behind most of their song writing still.

Looking thru some of the message boards last night on CMT.com, i had read that Kristin Hall,the member who dropped out of the band, had said in interviews that she wanted to be in a band to try and overcome her shyness, she suffered from terrible stage-freight and she did not like having to endure press interviews and it became very hard for her because of her shyness. She also said that traveling, performing so many shows per week,doing interviews and posing for photo shoots,left her little time to write songs:which is her livelyhood and her passion. She will still write songs for Sugarland but also wants to write for other acts as well.
