Ask:
My sister called and asked me if you can freeze milk. I think you can, but I am not sure.
Any info on this would be appreciated.
TIA
Answer:
You can. To us it changes the consistency and taste some so we don't like it. I would cook with milk I freeze but do not like to drink it. Others have said they don't notice the difference. Some people take a little bit of the milk out of the container before freezing to allow for expansion.

Answer:
Yes you can- as others have said, you need to take a little out for expansion. I have also been told you need to Shake it before use after freezing, because it separates a bit, but I done it just fine!
Answer:
I do it ALL the time. I don't notice a difference but I do shake it after thawing.
Answer:
I don't know why Mom always said no you can't freeze...Uhhh?
Answer:
I have accidentally frozen plenty of milk but I don't especially care for how it tastes after it thaws. That said, I wouldn't throw away any milk that's been frozen -- I'd use it for cooking, cereal, pudding, etc.
