Ask:
What's your cooking style??
Answer:
I am big on trying new recipes. I don't like to get bored with food....I'll usually make a recipe that we've liked again...but it might take me 6 months to do it. I'm CONSTANTLY trying new things.
Answer:
I like "NEW" food. It can just be a variation on the everyday, but I have to do new things all the time. It's my outlet for my creativity. We serve things really fancy and eat by candlelight a lot too. Dinnertime is my favorite family time. Food is LOVE!
Answer:
I make chicken so many times a week that I'm frequently finding a way to disguise how bored I am with it. So I do a new recipe a week, or every 10ish days or so, just to break the monotony.
Answer:
I love to cook and I try new recipes all the time. I don't use any prepackaged foods and don't make casseroles or anything like that.
We probably at least have chicken twice per week, fish one night and beef one night. One night might be sandwiches/soup or stew depending on the rush factor. Sometimes it's jsut really busy. Or maybe something quick like a big salad with grilled chicken or flank steak on top. DH and I go out at least once night per weekend, sometimes every night...LOL. We love good resturants!
Answer:
We have faves but I try a new recipe I would say more like every other week if it's a winner it goes in the file and is added to the faves.
Answer:
Well I'm in a rut! We eat the same things over and over. I'm now trying to cook healthy, low fat, low cholesterol things that my Four year old will eat and like, not to mention dh. *Sigh* It's hard to try to accommodate everyone and not cook 3 separate meals!!
Answer:
I try and find 1 new recipe a month to try. But we pretty much eat the same things all the time. For my birthday my grandmother gave a new cook book. (Taste of Home Yearbook) I have found a lot new recipes in here that are pretty cheap to make and my kids seem to like them. Most of the recipes have call for things that i have on hand already. So there is no buy speical things that you use only for that recipe and then never again
